National Do Not Call List
admin writes, "If you're like me and are tired of being plagued by endless calls to buy this or that then you might want to put your phone number (s) on the National Do Not Call List."
On Oct 2, 2006 all cell phone numbers were released to telemarketing companies and you're probably receiving sales calls on yours now, and you are being charged for these calls.

To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone 1 - 888-382-1222. It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years.

You must call from the cell phone number you wish to have blocked . You cannot call from a different phone number.

You can also register your regular phone number at www.donotcall.gov

Many states also have their own do not call lists as well.
